Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016): Kind of “Meh”

    Your blog is amazing!

  2. Great review, and I agree with you on those points. I’m no critic, but I did notice it was sometimes unnecessarily fast paced in some places. And I felt Jacob was a bit too accepting of “the events that transpired”.
But overall I enjoyed it, and look forward to further films in this cinematic universe.

  3. I enjoyed the film, it was a shame it wasn’t a novel first. I quite liked the pacing however I thought the twist where not up to her usual standard. I’m looking forward to the next one even if it’s not a book.

  4. Wasn’t really impressed by it. It’s not bad as a film, and the 3D works well with all the creatures, but it just seems that JKR is milking Harry Potter and the plot and the desperate attempt to like it to Harry Potter (like the mention of Dumbledore) is just forced. I’ve liked Harry Potter, but I think it needs a break, which won’t happen because I believe 4 more of the movies are already in the works.
