I still haven’t seeing Rough Night (missed that one in theaters), but I heard that was only mediocre.

Rough Night was at the bottom of my list too, but the other two found their way in the middle of the pack for me. The film at the bottom of my list for June was The House, and it stems from basically the same problems Rough Night had — it very much failed to live up to its premise and just wasn’t funny. I’ve never really cared for Will Farrell, but Amy Pohler and Jason Mantzoukas can be very funny. Wil Farrell really brought them down to his level and most of the comedy felt desperate.

I’ve only heard bad things about The House. I missed it because they didn’t screen it for critics which always means that its a dumpster fire. Sometimes, I need to take a step back and have some standards lol

Yeah. I don’t know why I keep subjected myself to trash. I think it’s because there’s always a chance there’s a diamond in the rough! (Just as some movies you think are going to be great turn out to be awful!)

Very true! The problem is that when you review movies there’s always more coming out so if you miss one it’s pretty difficult to catch up without missing another film.

        I hear ya’!
