‘It Chapter Two’ Floats Past $90 Million While the Venice Film Festival Confuses Us All (The MovieBabble Podcast Ep. 35)
It Chapter Two proves that Pennywise still has some spooks left in him. The sequel to 2017’s biggest runaway horror hit, is back, albeit with somewhat smaller returns. As a result, Angel Has Fallen has finally fallen from the #1 spot due to the killer clown. Good Boys and Overcomer continue to hold on somewhat steadily. What is now the seventh highest-grossing movie of all time, The Lion King makes its way towards $1.6 billion worldwide.
In this episode, Nick and I dive deep into It Chapter Two. Our likes, dislikes, and favorite scares are discussed in abundance, so beware of spoilers. And for those who missed out on the happenings of the Venice Film Festival, we take a crack at the Joker and Roman Polanski news as well, and all the awards possibilities — and hot takes — that may come from it.
