‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ Condemns the Franchise to an Even Darker Fate. Plus: October Winners and Losers!
Terminator: Dark Fate has come hot on the heels of Terminator: Genisys to even bleaker returns. The Arnold Schwarzenegger-driven project once again fails to live up to its former glory. Could this be the last we’ll see of the T-series of advanced killer robots?
While Terminator struggles, Joker continues to push towards $1 billion at the global box office. Harriet is also making waves with a higher than anticipated opening weekend, helped greatly by stellar audience reactions. Harriet is also accompanied in its opening weekend by Arctic Dogs and Motherless Brooklyn, neither of which managed to crack the top five. Netflix also released The King and began its limited theatrical release of Martin Scorcese’s The Irishman.
To top it all off, Nick, Brennan, and I run down our biggest wins and losses of October’s 2019 movie season. All this and much, much more on this week’s episode of The MovieBabble Podcast!
