Film Review – The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (2019) [Video]

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

Many of our best actors want to take the next leap in their artistic journeys and become directors, to tell their own stories and raise a new crop of talent along the way. As such, Chiwetel Ejiofor not only succeeds mightily in The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, his feature-length debut as a director, but also manages to pull out an impeccable performance from newcomer Maxwell Simba. You get two great debuts for the price of one Netflix count…that is unless you’re a horrendous scourge that mooches off others and refuses to pay for their own things. In which case, it’s two great debuts for absolutely nothing. (Yay?)

The following review will be spoiler free.

It really was a well done movie. I didn’t even realize who the Director was! Once again, you impart great knowledge of the cinema and are a great reference! Thanks as always
