Although Netflix will push the Bird Boxes and the Kissing Booths of the world until this Earth of ours hurdles into the sun, I admire their ability to find interesting foreign films and plop them on their service, especially because foreign language film is a blind spot for many movie lovers. Even if the cynical way to look at it is that they’re only doing so to capture more subscribers from foreign markets. Regardless, Mirage is poise to become a solid entry point for those looking to expand their movie knowledge, as it blends fascinating science fiction elements together for an interesting, twisting story.

In order for Vera to get her life back Nico would of had to die in the end which did not happen which made for a screwy ending.
No he didn’t. He just couldn’t look for her and change her life sequence to meet her husband and have the daughter.

I am so glad you liked Mirage. As an avid watcher of foreign films, this was my first Spanish movie I’ve watched in YEARS! I liked how the writer took you through each moment as she became aware of the truth of her new time line. It was well done and her solution came as a shock actually. Boy, to be able to talk to my past self like he did at the end…what would I say? Or you? Very good movie! Thanks for the review!
